3 Gas Turbine base Plant Description



There are three TAURUS 70 gas turbines which are designed for industrial service in electrical power generation applications; it is a single shaft, axial flow design consisting of air inlet assembly, compressor assembly, compressor diffuser assembly, annular combustor assembly, turbine assembly, exhaust diffuser assembly and exhaust collector assembly.



The turbine drives the compressor, gear unit and driven equipment from the front end of the engine, utilizing the compressor rotor as the engine output shaft.
