A client is looking for a used, well-maintained heavy fuel oil (HFO) generating plant with a total installed capacity of approximately 80 MW, intended for a captive power application.



We would appreciate your current availability and a technical/commercial offer against the parameters below.



Required configuration

- Total capacity: ~80 MW (medium-speed reciprocating engine-gensets; multi-unit configurations acceptable, e.g. Wärtsilä 20V32 / 18V46, MAN 18V32/40, or equivalent)

- Frequency / voltage: 50 Hz / 11 kV

- Fuel: HFO for running, diesel/LDO for start-stop

- Scope: complete with alternators and all auxiliaries (fuel treatment — preheaters, separators, viscosity control; lube oil system; cooling; switchgear; control system)



Technical information requested (per engine/unit)

- Make, model, year of manufacture and commissioning

- Total running hours; hours since last major overhaul

- Date and scope of last major overhaul

- Turbocharger, cylinder liner and piston ring inspection records

- Lube oil analysis history

- Maintenance records and O&M documentation availability

- Current storage/location and condition (operating / dismantled / packed)



Commercial information requested

- Unit and total pricing; basis (ex-works / FOB / CIF)

- Delivery / dispatch lead time

- Packing status (sea-worthy)

- Availability of installation, commissioning and load-testing (turnkey option)

- Availability of spare parts and OEM support continuity

- O&M contract options, if offered
