The owners confirmed that the units were manufactured between 1994/1996 but put into service as new in 1996 and were operated until 2004.



The turbines can be sold individually or together and the balance of the critical plant is also available at additional cost.



New Buyer would have to replace all the ducting, piping and some valves as well as replacing the control; systems with modern computerised units.



To out together a complete power station would cost a great deal more but the current cost of these type of turbines they estimate to be $40M + each!



Full engineering reports on the two turbines after the last major overhaul are available. Warrantees are subject to the conditions below.



I have not discussed a price but am reliably informed that the owners would take $8.5 M for the 2 turbines for a “quick deal”, as they are trying to create a cashed up shell for other projects.
